e-Consults – Important Update to Patients:

Please note that with immediate effect, the e-Consult service, for the Practice, has had to be adapted, to make it possible for us to offer on the day GP appointments.

Once the day’s e-Consult allocated slots have been used, the service will be switched off until the next working day.

This is to help us to safely manage demand and ensures that our Doctors are able to respond to your e-Consult enquiry within the correct time scale.

If you find that the e-Consult service is unavailable, please try using it again, on the next working day.

The e-Consult service is continually under review, and we thank you for your understanding of this slight change, at this time.

Nhs Digital has recently announced it is setting up a new primary care data collection service.

New Data Protection Regulations from May 2018 (GDPR)

Under the new data protection regulations introduced from 25th May 2018, we will continue to contact patients via text messages regarding the delivery of care if they have provided consent to do so.

If practices are sending messages about recommended treatment for the management of a specific health issue, then this is defined as providing appropriate care for patients, not marketing purposes.

If you would like ot opt out of any future contact via text messaging, then please complete the form and indicate in the marked section.
